This week, we announced what was arguably our biggest news in the 5-year history of Boom Sports.
Thanks to a deal with Penn National Gaming, we will now be able to launch and operate our own real-money sportsbook and online casino in up to 5 US states.
This is a big deal for a lot of reasons. We are easily the smallest company to have this kind of market access, which is incredibly hard to come by in the US market. With a relatively small amount of investment over the past few years, we have hustled and grinded our way into becoming a formidable company in an explosive new industry. And we’ve done it our own way. We took a strategy that was centered on aligning ourselves with world-class partners in media, sports, and casinos, and it’s a strategy we will expand upon in the months and years ahead.

Major gratitude to Assaf Einat for all his work and support in the early days of Boom to make sure we were building a company designed to last. And there are too many investors to thank, but I especially want to thank Trevor Wright, Eric Del Balso, Salim Mitha, Sumit Gupta, Peter Ziebelman, Larry Braitman, and Michael Spirito for the countless hours of their time I have asked for in the past couple years. And, of course, this is just a few of the many people who helped Boom get to this point.
